The Skills And Experiences I Acquired While Attending Arizona State University.

Through my degree path, Interdisciplinary Studies, I have learned many ways of looking at, and solving, problems. Not only problems from a professional standpoint but problems of any nature. The way this was taught to me was by becoming knowledgeable in two interrelated disciplines of education and through this interrelation realizing innovations never thought of before. I have learned that by looking at a problem, or situation, from many perspectives and analyzing it using multiple trains of though, that new and innovative solutions can be found. I feel that this background gives me a considerable advantage in critical thinking situations.

I chose this degree path because of its advantages of not following the traditional, single discipline, education. I wanted to learn about multiple disciples of education, and how to interrelate them. I found this educational path to be extremely innovative because I was not restricted to one path of study and was able to experience much more of what a four year university has to offer.
